Two links welded into one object — the figure above, the figure below.

Cyprus is built from two forms joined at a single weld. The upper link is a smooth oval in polished sterling silver, tubular and quiet. The lower link sits heavier against the body: a wider band carved with oval voids that run around its full circumference, opening the mass from within.

The two elements read in counterpoint. One is closed, one is pierced. One catches light as a single surface, one catches it in fragments. The weld between them is clean — a deliberate point of fusion that lets the pendant hang as a single piece while keeping the two parts legible.

The piece draws on two traditions at once: the proportional logic of Renaissance studies of the body, and the structural vocabulary of nautical jewelry — chain, link, weight worn against skin. Cyprus sits at the notch of the collarbone and declares both.

Supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver Trace chain. The chain is included — not as an accessory, but as part of the object.

Production note: Each Cyprus Pendant is produced individually — printed, cleaned, welded, and polished by hand. Minor variations in polish and tonal density are part of the object's evidence, not flaws in it. Allow 21 business days from order confirmation before shipment.

Maintenance: Sterling silver is reactive and will develop patina through environmental friction over time. Restore the mirror finish with regular mechanical polishing using a silver cloth or professional ultrasonic cleaning. The pierced lower link should be cleaned gently to preserve the carved voids.
